Eight years ago Pete the Plumber had its first ever golf tournament.  It was organized for our staff as a fun afternoon event. That first year only saw 3 teams participate.  What once started as a staff function has now turned into an event that has over 10 teams participating that are made up of Pete the Plumber employees, and staff from our suppliers and vendors.

In 2013 we decided due to the growth of the tournament that it would be great opportunity to support a local charity in the city. That year we raised over $3500.00 for Inn from the Cold to help support the great work that they do on a daily basis for the city’s less fortunate. In 2014 we supported the Calgary Children’s Foundation and with over 50 golfers participating we raised over $4000.00.

This year we are pleased to support Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids. We are looking to increase the number of participants and the amount we are able to give to another great charity. We look forward to seeing everyone who can join us on the golf course to have a great day and awards dinner!
